1. Establishing a need analysis

Need analysis should be the first step as it gives reason for training, type of training to be provided, time of training , target group for training and type of trainer needed and the way training will further move on. By determining training needs, an organization can decide what specific knowledge, skills, and attitudes are needed to improve the performance .

2. Developing training programs and manuals

The second important step is the development of manual and program, keeping in mind the background(education, culturepracticesetc) of the target group and the objectives of the training.

3. Implementation of the training Programs

Training is delivered by the trainers therefore training and motivation of the trainers is the first requirement of successful implementation. Trainers should have the ability to motivate the participants to want to learn with strong passion for their topic . Good planning, controlled environment, facilities management including room arrangement, food management, sitting arrangements, refreshment management are the basic points to remember while implementation of the programme. Thereby implementation is one of the key steps on which the success of program depends. Methods of training (one to one training, on the job training , group training, seminars workshops) should be planned and managed. Classroom rules & expectations including safety and evacuation procedure should be handed over to the trainees.
